The Independent Plumbing & Heating Contractors Association (IP&HCA) is a Not For Profit Trade Association formed in 1980. The IP&HCA was established to act on matters that relate to its members’ interests.

The IP&HCA provides its members with information in connection with labour relations within the industry, including matters related to labour/management (union) concerns, safety, training, government legislation, compensation, benefit trust funds, technical and trade specific issues.

The IP&HCA also provides negotiation and collective bargaining of the Collective Agreement to which its members are signatory to. The IP&HCA is the Accredited Employers Organization for the Collective Agreement.
